EXTERIOR
Design details:
o Curved copper gutters
o Steel garland
o Steel column porch support designed as a
“banana tree” with salvaged counterweight
“bananas”
• New exterior siding with whimsical details
• Recycled rubber tire roof designed to look
like slate
Abacus-inspired front door
o Operable side ventilation
o Collectibles hung from rods in small windows
MAIN FLOOR
LIVING ROOM
Design details:
o Cherry paneling
o Tile wall behind TV
o Salvaged pickle barrel & ship-lap wood flooring
• Removed wood-burning fireplace
• Added built-in media storage drawers
DINING ROOM
• Replaced gold-sponged mirrored ceiling with
steel sheathing framed with cherry
• Replaced structural dining room wall with steel

STORAGE CONTAINER GUEST HOUSE

o Custom wind-fallen wood paneling
o Perforated metal panels mounted on barn glides
o Stone sink with tree stump base

o Feeding trough as shower basin
o Rotating shelf system to separate areas
o Hinged artwork becomes a standing desk
