SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 25TH - 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
GREEN SPROUTS FAMILY FEST 2011
"How to design/build amazing spaces for all ages and stages keeping health & sustainability in mind."
Please join us at Green Sprouts Family Fest 2011 in Peninsula Park* on the Get Home Schooled Bus for a 15 minute presentation by Arciform designer Kristyn Bester and have a chance to ask your own questions about creating family-friendly spaces!
You'll learn about:
- Designing fun & functional spaces for eating, sleeping, and playing that grow with your family.
- Creating creative storage options when space is at a premium & “stuff” is at a maximum.
- Selecting materials that are good for planet & people and able to handle the wear-n-tear of little ones.
- Managing tight budgets and tight timelines. (Especially when 9 months is all you have!)
Presentation Times:
11:30 am
2:00 pm
3:30 pm
*The bus will be parked on the west side of Peninsula Park on N. Albina Avenue.
