About Snow Blackwood

As the editor and creative director for Oregon Home magazine, I turned a dated-looking magazine that was losing money, into a beautifully designed publication that reflects the unique Oregon aesthetic of today. By managing all aspects of producing a magazine from designing home industry events, creating contests, doing the leg work for advertising sales and keeping the big picture in mind with a full re-design/re-branding, I created renewed enthusiasm for a magazine that had lost it's spirit, accomplished record-breaking newsstand sales and increased ad revenue by over 300%!
