What inspires you most about your job?

Discovering the story behind a home or a building and having the opportunity to honor its history while reimagining it for our clients and creating beautiful, functional spaces. To me, design is storytelling.

What do you do here?

As a Junior Designer, I assist the other designers with everything from documenting the existing spaces, from product research and sourcing, to note taking during meetings. I visit sites that are under construction and document the progress to update our social media accounts. Most importantly, my job is to learn!

How long have you worked for ARCIFORM?

Since March 2023.

What did you do before this job?

Before getting hired, I worked at a tile and natural stone showroom as a showroom design associate. I gained in-depth knowledge of tile and stone and assisted customers with selections and orders.

What type of training/education do you have?

I have an associates degree in interior design from Portland Community College. I also have showroom design experience as well and previous experience working as an assistant for an interior designer.

Where did you grow up?

I was born and raised in the Portland/Vancouver area!

What do you like to do outside of work?

I love going on walks in my neighborhood, trying new recipes at home, listening to live music and taking day trips to the mountains or beach. Above all, I spend as much time as I can with my friends and family.

What's your favorite part of your job?

Having an opportunity to help make an impact in such a large variety of projects. My days never look alike! Seeing the end result after a lot of hard work is very rewarding.

Side note: My relationship with ARCIFORM started when my family hired them to remodel the kitchen in our craftsman/bungalow in 2005. 😊
