Bradley Horne has done it all here at ARCIFORM. From his start with us in 2011 as an intern finding paint swatches to being the delivery driver, to the purchasing agent, to taking field measurements and drafting existing buildings & homes. He’s helped with business development, doing new client intake services, meeting with city officials and has even been on panels for historic projects. He’s drafted and designed custom cabinetry. And now, finally, he’s a designer. Chances are if it needs to get done, Bradley will make it happen. Bradley learned design first from his father who was an architect. He went on to get his degree in interior design from Portland Community College and like many of our employees—started out on the east coast. He’s moved his way through North America ending up in Portland in 2004.
HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR FREE TIME?
I like to exercise, read, paint and be outdoors as much as possible. It seems like we get to rediscover the city each year as the seasons change, which is pretty amazing. I also enjoy spending time with my family.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT YOUR JOB?
The best part is never knowing what to expect. The complexity and uniqueness of each project is one of a kind and tailored to that family. It’s a very special thing to be a part of. “Inspired by the Stories of People and Spaces” is the perfect mission statement for us.
