My passion for architecture is inspired by my father. His understanding of forms and how subtle functions can influence our experience has been rooted into my mind since I was a child, watching him at his drafting board. He always told me a problem seems impossible because it implies there is no solution. We face challenges, and it’s our task to find appropriate solutions. Eventually I did an internship with my father as I pursued my career in the industry. I like to think of his words and use them every day. It inspires me to constantly push myself to improve our clients’ homes and tailor the experience so it blends the form of their home with the needs of their family. I love working closely with our clients and cherish the collaborative evolution of our design process. The results always amaze me.

HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR FREE TIME?

I like to exercise, read, paint and be outdoors as much as possible. It seems like we get to rediscover the city each year as the seasons change, which is pretty amazing. I also enjoy spending time with my family.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT YOUR JOB?

The best part of my job is never knowing what to expect. The complexity of each project is unique and tailored to that family. It’s a very special thing to be a part of. “Inspired by the Stories of People and Spaces” is the perfect mission statement for us.
