Creative Kitchens for Vintage Homes
A morning of design inspiration and expert insight into balancing historic character with modern-day function
Saturday, October 10th, 10:00 am
Chown Hardware Showroom
333 NW 16th Ave.
Free | Registration Required
Remodeling a kitchen in an older home is an opportunity to make it work beautifully for the way you live while preserving the character that makes your home distinctive. Whether you’re planning a remodel or simply gathering ideas, join us for a morning of creative approaches and practical solutions for bringing the two together.
Arciform senior designer Bradley Horne will share examples from real Portland projects, exploring layouts, islands, cabinetry and storage, open shelving, materials, and architectural details. Along the way, he’ll show how decisions both large and small can shape the way a kitchen looks, feels, and functions.
The event takes place inside Chown Hardware’s kitchen and bath showroom, which will be open exclusively for our guests that morning. There will be time to browse the showroom before and after the presentation, along with coffee and pastries and plenty of time for questions.
The event is free and space is limited, so reserve your spot in advance.
Optional donations will benefit
Girls Build.
