Who is someone that inspires you?

Nelson Mandela. To not become bitter when persecuted is a rare gift.

What do you like most about your job? 

I love working with our clients and helping them make the most of their homes.

How long have you worked for Arciform?

I started as Project Manager with Arciform in 2001, then took a 10-year hiatus to be a stay-at-home dad and returned in 2013.

 

What did you do before this job?

I've built boats, cabinetry, high end furniture, curved stairs and more. I worked as a general contractor and a stay-at-home dad.

What type of training/education do you have?

I’ve worked with my hands in one way or another most all my life. I have always enjoyed it. From working as a drafter at Albert Kahn Associates to plastering walls. I’ve managed my own contracting business.

 

What's one of your proudest accomplishments? 

Raising 2 kids who are kind, caring, and respectful of all people and winning a lot of sailboat races. Both took dedication, patience, and years of practice.

Which is your favorite Portland neighborhood or landmark? 

My favorite Portland area is Forest Park. Little do many know that you can live in the city that has a forest inside it.
